 oin me on this new tour featuring the best of summer foods. We’ll start out at the Farmer’s Market and shop for the best Texas tomatoes, berries, and peaches. We’ll go for an olive oil tasting, stop for fresh mozzarella, and have the makings of one of the world’s best summer salads made with vine ripened tomatoes, mozzarella, basil, olive oil, sea salt, and perfectly fresh bread.
We’ll go behind-the-scenes at a Latin American bakery that makes delicious specialties from Venezuela, Argentina, and Colombia and watch them make mouth watering pastries and then have lunch that includes a sampling of Argentinean specialties including cachapas (corn pancakes filled with cheese), sweet fried plantains, thick fruit juice made on the spot with a choice of tropical fruit, and of course baked goods from the bakery. What better way can there be to end a summer day in Dallas then with a stop for Dallas’s world-class gelato (Italian-style ice cream)?
