"I am one of the Ardmore girls you escorted on a fabulous culinary tour March 25th. It was a fun-filled day touring the Dallas area, finding very interesting spots. I was quite excited to learn about the Argentinean herbal tea and the gourd containers. I received two from my aunt and uncle's estate. They lived in Argentina for a time, working with Conoco oil. When they left Buenos Aires, they were given a pair of the gourds and the unusual utensils. Not until the tour on Thursday, did I realize what they actually were. I had presumed that they were some sort of inkwell with writing instruments. ……Thank you for such an interesting and enjoyable day."

Learn how to make a proper pot of tea at a neighborhood British food shop; visit a shop to sample made-on-the-premises Argentinean empanadas and Turkish pastries; explore an Asian market; stop at a Vietnamese tofu shop; savor the exotic spices, sweets, cheeses, and flat breads at a Middle Eastern market; and visit a shop to see how gelato (Italian ice cream) is made.   For lunch, we’ll have Hong Kong style dim sum.  Bring a cooler!
